Heating and Temperature control
The right temperature contributes to the faster development of eggs, larvas and cocoons and thus the growth of the whole colony.
As a source of heat, you can use either a heating cable, heating mat or ceramic heater. To avoid overheating your formicarium using a thermostat is recommended.

Digital thermometer
The black digital thermometer accurately shows the temperature.
The 1 m long remote sensor can be placed directly into the module, through a plug.
Hygrometer + Thermometer

Both hygrometer and thermometer are electronically accurate measuring devices for monitoring humidity and temperature changes in the formicarium. Batteries are included.

Heating mat 5W 14x15 cm
The 5W heating mat heats the ant farm under which it is located, thus accelerating the development and growth of the colony. The mat has a surface temperature of approx. 30- 40°C (depending on the ambient temperature).
We recommend combining with a thermostat to prevent the colony from overheating.
These heating mats produce infrared heat with ultra-long wavelengths. This wavelength heats physical objects rather than air. The surface of the heating foils heats up but provides very mild heat. Ants absorb this radiant heat in a way that is very similar to their natural environment.
Heating cable 4 m, 15W
Single-core heating cable, which is covered with a thick layer of silicone for greater durability.
The heating cable is designed for side or bottom heating. The total length of the cable is 4 m and the whole is covered with silicone insulation. The first meter from the power plug is only the power cord, which does not heat up, the remaining three meters of the cord heat up. Both heating and non-heating parts are covered with silicone insulation. When connected, the cable heats up within a few minutes and cools down quickly after disconnection.
Ceramic heat radiator 30W
Ceramic radiators are an excellent heat source that emits no light, only heat. E27 socket required.
They are installed in classic E27 porcelain sockets and are therefore ideal for heating ant farm from above. It is possible to connect them to a thermostat and use them constantly, for example at night. Due to the fact that it does not emit any light, it does not disrupt the day / night cycle of ants.
Attention! Always install only in ceramic sockets and avoid animals or humans in direct contact with the radiator to avoid burns.
Clamping lamp for ceramic heater
A clamping lamp is used to attach a ceramic heating radiator or another compatible product with an E27 socket.
The socket in the lamp body can be moved forwards or backwards.

Digital thermostat + timer AC210
Digital thermostat is equipped with a large LCD display with a friendly interface, two sockets and a 1 m long sensor. The first socket is used for temperature control (heating), here you can connect, for example, heating mat, ceramic radiator, heating cable, or other sources for temperature control.
